Eighteen windows on the south façade, overheating after midday. Internal blinds had solved nothing — the heat was already through the glass.
In short
We installed motorised zip screens on eighteen openings across the south façade, using a 3% openness fabric. External shading stops the heat before it passes the glass, and the view stays.
The challenge
The south façade took direct sun from midday until evening. Internal blinds cut the light but not the temperature.
The solution
Zip screens mounted outside, the fabric held in zipped side guides — no flapping and no light gaps at the edges. Motorised, with a wind sensor.
