Architectural shading for terraces: adjustable bioclimatic louvres or a retractable membrane.
The bioclimatic version has rotating aluminium louvres, so you control light and ventilation in steps and the structure stays up all year. The PVC membrane retracts completely and costs considerably less, but offers no adjustment and must be retracted in strong wind.
Rotating aluminium louvres: you adjust light and air without closing the structure. With integrated gutters and a rain sensor, the terrace stays usable in the wet.
A retractable fabric on an aluminium structure. It folds away completely when you want open sky, and costs considerably less.
Aluminium louvres rotating from flat to nearly vertical, with gutters integrated into the beams and drainage through the posts. You adjust light and ventilation in steps, and the structure stays up all year.
A retractable fabric tensioned on an aluminium structure. It folds away completely for open sky and costs considerably less, but must be retracted in strong wind and at the end of the season.
